Conor Jackson has been named the National League Player of the Week for his searing hot week. Jackson had 12 hits in 25 at bats for an average of .480. He led all players with 10 RBI’s in the week, as well as two doubles and three homers while scoring 10 runs.
Jackson had a huge game against Greg Maddux and the Padres earlier in the week. He had two triples in that game, falling only a double short of the cycle.
He won the award over man notable hot players such as the Braves Chipper Jones and the Mets David Wright.
